  • Balance Changes In BBG

    BBG has gotten even less attention from Skyvu ever since BBO's release. While BBO gets new chat channels, all BBG got was an "update". As we all know, nothing changed, no bug fixes, nothing. We did get a new loading screen and a tiny tweak to the main menu. Yipee!

    Still, there's community "outcries" for balancing some weapons throughout BBG. I bet Skyvu already well knows what's going on. Balancing within a game is pretty easy, (there's a lot more depth into balancing) it's basiclly changing the number values within the game's code. BBO's popularity is increasing every second, with new forums members joining and even a subreddit being made for BBO. (Here's BBG subreddit btw)

    Although the BBO community is much more active, thanks to its chat system, I'm sure their BBG player count and income is much higher. Being an older game of course, BBG has many players who come from BBR. Now I get Skyvu is a company and want to make money. BBG's old engine is hard to work with for the new employees at Skyvu. We know how productive Skyvu can get if they put their effort into it. For example, Skyvu made multiple chat channels in around 3 days of people complaining. Wow! Maybe BBO's new engine is very easy to work with with the new devs. That we don't know. What we do know is Skyvu can do these game-changing features into BBO. At the current state of BBG, I can almost state that BBG is dead. Or if it hasn't died out yet, it'll die out this year. Heck, I've thought of quitting BBG because of the balancing issues present in BBG. But, I don't. I really don't know why I care about this game anymore, but I do. BBG has that charm in it. No other mobile game gave me. The BBG community is going downhill for sure. I'm not sure if Skyvu cares for BBG at this point, but I'll keep on typing this like they do.

    Skyvu, please use your community. You got an army of nurds to help you. I bet many people on this forum would help out if it meant a better and more balanced BBG. Skyvu also has to look out to users not on the forums. Give a way for people not registered onto the forums a much easier ways to submit their ideas. Now, with BBG's old engine, I understand that any game-changing mechanics are not possible. But, we do have a variety of weapons and classes we can tweak and change slightly. Instead of adding crap to the game, such as weapons that are poorly textured. Skyvu should shift their focus on balancing and tweaking preexisting weapons. Well, this is a high schools kids knowledge, so I'm sure Skyvu already has thought of everything I said. To make balancing so much more easier, I put together all of the changes that should make BBG a better game.

    TL;DRThe main goal of this whole "Rebalancing" thing was to reduce the damage effectiveness of equipment altogether. Also please Battle Bears Inc. please listen to the community.

    P.S. If you don't agree with some of the suggested changes, please tell me. I'll change and edit this thread accordingly.


    Overall Changes
    -Touching a Health Source Removes Poison
    -All overheal Is Gone in 15 Seconds

    Cloaking
    -8 Second Cloak Time
    -15 Second Recharge Time
    -Cannot shoot while cloaked

    Iron Curtain
