my gathered thoughts about the update:
-the weapons look nice despite what they're based off of.
-the update took around 10 days or so i think which is infuriating beyond belief knowing how fast they can make original weapons after months of silence
-the astoria weapon imo won't be a fidget spinner hopefully but even if it is as long as it's a new concept for a weapon and looks nice then i'm fine
-the sanchez weapon is support based so that's great and it kinda looks like it belongs with steamyard blues
-the botch weapon looks like a normal botch weapon and feels like it fits him
-as long as they're all balanced it'll be a successful update
-let it goat 2 is promoting a game with an update using a trend, this will most likely bring in players
-i'm upset that no new wil weapon (could have been a donut to go along with the spinning trend this update has) and the fact that even after they saw my asking for a new bb gun we aren't getting one
things i would have like in the next update:
-new tank based bb gun (+10% health, maybe damage reduction and wind up increase compared to bb gun?)
-new graham turret (which has more health but maybe less range?)
-another primary starter weapon for tilman
-pea shooter secondary and mafia skin for astoria
-old weapons given to other classes adding more multi class items (like goldskins), this way tilman could have a large amount of aoe weapons (like tntl, chainsaw shotgun etc) as new primaries or characters who originally used a weapon in the story line could use it in game (oliver with flamethrower or wil with solar wind scar). this would give a massive update considering that there are a lot of weapons that use a certain type of weapon that another class could use (muskit for wil allowing for a double team of radiation) and would add all kinds of new options for L O A D O U T S and strategies.
BBG today has been one big rollercoaster and also been pretty active.
First thing i joined a private competitive game by guessing the pass, all kinds of weird stuff going on but the end was the absolute weirdest.
Step 1. Walk to enemy base
Step 2. Forget you walked to enemy base
Step 3. Fight enemy
Step 4. Walk to shields
Step 5. Don't take shields and return to base
Step 1. Fight my teammate
Step 2. Let teammate leave even though you're both near shields
Step 3. Leave teammate and shields alone to come near me without a quickswitch ready
So maybe competitive was a bit off today how about we play some pubs, 4v4 ptb? Sounds good.
Step 1. Stand completely still
Step 2. Ignore tilman killing you
Step 3. Start shooting tilman when you have 10 health and keep shooting orbs even though he's behind a wall and not peaking at all
Step 4. Die
Later in the match same botch waited like 5s so he could kill me when i backed up to him while standing still behind me
Okay so i just had a game where first, griff had no model for his huggable and was just a blue traingle a name and a charged run animation. Second mines killing people that i had detonated 10 seconds earlier and even when i detonated them the life before. Third mines doing assist 44s on a huggable. Finally i saw players doing a bunch of stupid things like an oliver standing right next to a shield powerup and letting an enemy wil walk over and take it and also a huggable just stand still and let me kill him with a long distance power glove charge shot.
Nah SPP actually contributes to the discussion with well thought out arguments although sometimes flawed. Rather than just commenting useless junk With no benefit ^ and I'm pretty sure I deserve that crown now that I have joined the community
the controls are actually pretty great for an emulator, especially when all keys are bound correctly for simplicity, but my least favorite part is when the controls desync of glitch up during a match, derailing your fight or worse. Still, it works in a pinch. If you happen to see me acting noobier than usual one day, you'll know what's going on. xD
I think you're doing it wrong if you have to hold m1 down just to turn all the time. Nox has these special keybind thingies where you can map the controls to each BBG button. Then, the right click will swap you in and out of aiming mode if I'm not mistaken (been a few months since I last played on emulator), so you can either aim during gameplay or click the screen freely. All in all, you can have BBG working to many other PC FPSes if you get it set up right.
