Honestly speaking, I don't see the "hype" about hackers in the current state of BBG. Considering the balance, we already have a bad name don't we? We have more problems to deal with compared to the "hacking problem".
To those who disagree, let me ask you one question.
How many hackers have you met in a match, out of every match you've ever played? Or what's the frequency of meeting a hacker in a match?
THat's the current setup I use with demo with speed 2 and explosives 2 and it's a fun setup, using a mobile demo that isn't reliant heavy damage to kill someone. RPL may one shot lower health classes, it's max damage with explosions 2 is only 70 which isn't much in comparison to other explosives, plus it's easy to dodge if you notice it coming at you.
Because forumers who are the "experts" at balancing, keep on bashing classes they don't use or get annoyed facing. And since Oliver and Riggs have the highest popularity, they can't be bashed too much.
They wouldn't touch Oliver again because so many people hated the Oliver it made him have a high dps. They shouldn't have nerfed deadyee but maybe the just the equipment it benefits from, like less damage from +2
We are currently full. We already have 5 members. I assume you want to be on the actual podcast, but if you want to help out, you could be on the team kind of behind the scenes. PM LXSXL and he'll give you things you can do behind the scenes.
It became a huge trend ever since BBG came out that's likely not going to end. When newbies play matches on Palringo they are usually bashed if they play with premium classes, because most Palringo users are ignorant and think all other classes, especially premium classes, besides Oliver and Riggs are OP. No one is brave enough to use something else, so every Palringo user just jumps on the Oliver/Riggs bandwagon.
Are they not right? When people are spamming BB on Tillman, HC on Graham, almost everything on Wil, cloaking MB on Astoria. Because people who go there usually use OP sets, obviously they'll get bashed.
I don't see them complaining when I use Astoria and Huggy.
Forumers are the ignorant ones. Thats why HC, Senor Potato, MB, Bind Gun got buffed in the first place.
And when newbies actually use OP weapons when they first play Palringo matches, then yeah, they will get bashed. But I've been bashed for using Orbs (current nerfed version)and Saberi, which rarely are talked about in terms of balance.
Uh, no they weren't. They were good allready. I was actually quite surprised when I saw their stats, it feels like it did more damage and they were numbered wrong. Besides, I never did too bad with them.
They were terrible in comparison to the Matter guns and such. If you're going to have a weapon like Twin Bearzookas, it has to stand up against the other Primaries in a way in which it's not completely out-gunned in DPS. I played with Twin Bearzookas often before and after the nerf, and yes, they were atrocious compared to the Matter guns, which got the job done much faster. Now, they actually stand up to a degree.
Also, I might add that it's because of the Oliver/Riggs bandwagon that I started using anti-builds for several classes to deal with all the over-usage of the first two classes in the game. Started getting creative and looking at how the classes worked to best fit a proper counter build.
There's a lot right with this game, but there's also a lot wrong, and a decent amount of it comes from the community. In plenty of cases, I've seen people either 1. Using an OP set or 2. Running a meta set, and it makes people like me who constantly run non-meta or anti-meta sets with creative combinations feel like variety is not as lively in this game as it used to be.
A lot of weapons were buffed for the wrong reasons, and a lot of weapons were nerfed for the wrong reasons. Some were done right. As I've stated before, something being OP is entirely under the discretion of the people who've used it and gone against it. If you know how to counter a weapon or combo, is it OP still? I honestly refuse to jump on any bandwagon, and I've been that way since the start. I will play what I wish to play, and I will continue to keep thinking up interesting loadouts because I can and because I can make them work with enough practice.
Those smart donkeys who said "NERF Dead Eye, Fudge Yeah!"
About time you found out Dead Eye itself wasn't the issue.
Now you just started Damage Ammo Dead Eye Cloaking.
Great job guys.
Let me enlighten you guys, Astoria has 70 HP. How is one even unable to just poke em and they die?
