I know everyone has an opinion and I respect that, but I don't know, something just triggers me when people say that it's "not as fun as the first time playing BBR."
I understand that BBR was fun and all, but people only enjoyed it so much compared to how they enjoy BBG now because it was new, it was fresh back in its day. People didn't know what to expect, and we all got a great product that exceeded expectations and provided a fun experience in the end.
Overclock is no different from BBR in that it's a brand new experience despite it being a rebuild of BBU. What I'm getting tired of is people criticizing the new version because of what they originally experienced in either BBU in 2014 or the recent Soft Launch. I'm not saying that any of you guys in these comments did, but other people have and I'm starting to see it spread onto these very Forums. The game changed a lot, and while it still feels like BBU in some ways, it feels more like a fresh taste on it with the new mechanics and features.
Point is, people aren't giving it a fair chance when comparing what they assume they know about it to the likes of BBG and/or the first experiences of playing BBR. Playing Overclock for the first time should bring back those memories of first enjoying BBR because it's a new game that we haven't been used to for years now, I honestly don't get why people deny that fact. Maybe if you guys just forget what you know about both BBU and the Soft Launch and give the Hard Launch a fair chance on Thursday, you might see the fun in it and start enjoying it as much as you did when you first played BBR. I know I did when BBU first came out.
I'll say again that I didn't say they were criticizing certain aspects, they just don't like it and that's an opinion. I'm just getting sick of the comparisons without fair chances, that's all. Not accusing anyone here.
Thanks!! :D No worries, I was just jumping around trying to trickshot your nooby teammates, so neither of us were bent on victory there. xD I've always thought Rockette was a very underrated weapon, and your practice with it shows.
