Hello Everyone,

With all the talk on the forums, I wanted to bring back some attention for Battle Bears Gold. I closed the old feedback / how to improve thread since there were hundreds of comments and it was difficult to have time to read through all of them! This is part 2 thread and I hope you can offer us some great ideas!

I know all and well that there are some features/changes that you all would like.
  • Balance Changes (Most requested!)
  • Private match Features
  • Too much to list!

So what I want to know is how you feel about the game at its state, what is something you like and don't like about it? What feels too strong or too weak for you? Are you fine with the gameplay speed as it is?

    Steam yard Blues also should get a complete redesign because of how crowded it is.

    In my opinion the game speed in BBG is fine.

    And the answer for the pop quiz question. The game I think your talking about is Killing Floor.

    Okay so i came back on to say somethjg about IX but this comes up i'm sorry i wasn't doing what i said i would but this is kinda the only place to contact skyvu i hope you understand.

    2.Reversion of balance for weapons if they existed at the time 2.3 bbg and the bullets from then would be good (this is my opinion in bullets but the balance thing is needed)

    Once you've finished these things then you can add and remake things like steamyard blues and a BBR mode would be pretty cool but don't even consider these things until you've done the things above

    @Ultimate_Bear No, there's nothing wrong with equipment stacking. It's been a thing since the first day of the game and removing it would cause quite a level of complaints.

    @SSP_Rism I can agree with everything except for the part where you're basically saying downgrade the game back to an earlier version by bringing back obsolete stats and projectile models from 2.3.

    Trang said he already noted balance changes as the most requested change. Stating the same change here again would be redundant.

    As for me, these are some things I would like to see:
    • Redesign of Steamyard Blues (Small vertical based maps do not fare well with BBG's gameplay especially with explosive weapons.)
    • Clan system (After seeing the potential from BBO's future clan system, it would be amazing if something similar was implemented in BBG. It would bring new life to the game with easy organization and communication from clan members.)
    • General Polish and Bug Fixes (As most people can agree, there is more than enough content in the game. Mostly what it needs are little tweaks and fixes here and there.)

    The game in its current stage has somewhat staled for me, mainly from the lack of support. However there is still a lot of life and a lot of potential in the game. It may be a tall order, but if it was possible to maintain support between BBO and BBG, I can see great things happening. There is a lot of content in the game and the gameplay is addictive. However the main issues have been the bug fixes whether it is the glitched FFA score, the grammatical errors, and etc. However small, any issues speaks a lot about the quality of the game. Well weapon balance you are already aware of. It is difficult to balance all of the weapons available in BBG but there are drastic differences between the viable weapons and the terrible ones. If you ever need suggestions on how to balance the game, there are several people in the community with full knowledge of the game and lots of balance suggestions. The gameplay speed has felt a bit clunky to me, but that's after weeks of playing BBO so that may be an invalid opinion.

    1.Clan system so that there would be a competitive backing to BBG
    2.Bug fixes
    3.Balancing things like handcannon or perhaps making some characters like soldier faster
    4.Attempt to update BBG PC,if possible

    I miss the old Oliver melees' (including Kumakiri's) animations.

    Can there be alerts for nukes?? Some maps have roofs and u can't even see the nuke and ur just dead! Maps like huggable factory..the green space station..the ice place thing and such

    @DevilishMe Adding a marker would ruin the element of surprise it has on both open and sheltered maps. Just listen out for the nuke and hunt down the Tillman who launched it if you know who it was, they'll be staying clear of it since they know where it went.

    Nuking public accounts aren't a very sustainable solution..since anyone can create an account,and also release the details to the public,there will alway be public accounts.I suggest removing the logout thing for public accounts when multiple people play on one single account.

    1. Remove Joule drops it lags the game for older devices. (Back to 275 per kill please)

    2. Add a TAUNT button please

    3. Buff suicide kill weapons like last resort and whipped pain they are horrible

    4. Add a graphics option for IOS and Android users because some IOS users hate low graphics.

    5. Please make melees register more I can hit a guy for over a minute and get assist +0 even with good internet. (Enemies standing still get killed easier by melee just a tip)

    6. Bring back old Oliver melee animations the current ones make it look like he's drunk.

    7. Fix the glitch where Provo takes over 15 secs to wind up and also when Provo suddenly stops firing for no reason.

    8. Bring back Gas to Joules please (Joules to Gas won't happen so the other way round seems better)

    1. As always, love and support for the game (plz)
    2. Revert to pre overhaul statistics (except for huggable)+other necessary balancing changes
    3. Revert to retro graphics for bullets (the old bullets were better aligned and seemed more "bullet-like")

    Pls add overclock skins for the characters that are in BBO into BBG (Ex. Oliver, Graham, Tillman) You guys don't need to do the other classes first I'm pretty sure skins are easier to make than weapons so pls SkyVu

    So far, BBG is very conferrable for me and i like how the game is going (Too many noobs however). Anyway I will point out the good things and bad things in BBG.

    BBG offers a vast variety of weapons and each of them are fun and/or hard to use. But some are considered OP and such. Overall in my opinion, I don't sense OP weapons a lot really because the OP users are noobs and are relatively easy on how to defeat them but still, balancing is needed because the general public rage at those such a thing and they will stop playing the game so that needs some attention.

    Weapon idea!
    Create a weapon that shoots bombs from Plant the Bomb and explodes on contact! It would be the best weapon ever! (Don't!)

    The modes are glitched. Sometimes in Plant the Bomb, the bomb time does not tick down so that means it won't explode. King of the Windmill is fine, Team Battle is fine. But Free For All needs major fixes! The green stat screen is gone and the score system is glitch because those bugs being fixed might bring more players to play BBG.

    Despite of having a large Map choice, most of them are small and uninteresting like Steam yard blues and that ice map. So if you guys were gonna make a new Map, it's gotta be big! Maybe it should be a Map inside the USRA Major. It could be a maze like map with the Asian room, the Power room where Oliver goes O.C.O. and the Bearzerker room. It would please those story mode people.

    More skins would be nice (like someone in a jacket and a tie if you know what i mean :smiley: )But the skins are somewhat out of place. Botches Green Lantern skin is oddly out of place and the Old Timey skins icon are weird. They need some fixing.

    But the game feels something is missing... A Co-OP mode. I feel like battle Bears Gold need something like this because people might get bored of fighting other players and might want to fight together like a true team! And adding some CO-OP mode would make the game feel fresh again. Maybe the CO-OP mode could have some story to it. As the Battle Bears go find some gold and treasure on the Huggable Planet, It's up to you and your team to defend the USRA Major from a horde of powerful Huggables and H.I.P. bots coming from the Mare Craft Carrier. Huggables like the Bearbershop would sing to kill your team, flying unicorns on carpets airstrikes you and robots would start shooting at you! But when you defend the ship long enough from the onslaught.. the big baddies like Colbear, the Bearzerker, and Rho would come and take you and your team out and destroy your ship. Now it's up to you to defend the ship by preventing enemies coming inside the ship. Some classes and weapons would receives some perks to defend the ship from the horde and weapons will slowly get more stronger as the game progresses while enemy will get stronger also and players would still compete because players should be able to collect Robot Scrap metal and Huggable blood as a way to get points and whoever obtained the most until the end of the game wins! Now that sounds very big and it would need new maps specifically designed for that and it sounds so big that it would need it's own App (or not). So the CO OP mode would be really nice but probably not first priority... but would be a good time to start ounce Sky Vu gets enough cash. But when something like this were to be done, It would bring freshness for BBG and revive some parts we all love from story mode and make Battle Bears Franchise extra great.

    Some weapon balance would be very nice. One that I really want is a change to acreambo pistols, they are too similiar to a salt in terms of play style but a salt is way stronger due to the fact that it gets huge bonuses from equipment.

    Also hand cannon needs a nerf cause it does way too much damage with exp 2 and that much damage on ammo 2 with two shots and only a 4.5 second reload. and it has a massive explosion and doesnt fly any slower than many other explosive porjectiles that do half it's damage

    Yeah...in certain circumstances(and depending on the equipment) you can get an amount of damage that can be just slightly below Phat Man,or maybe even above Phat Man

    Just listing this from the top of my mind. Could be wrong could be right. Could be a lot could be too little. Who really knows.

    -Balancing WEPS, MAPS, PRICES, EQUIPMENTS, ETC. is a must have. We need a lot of different people using different sets. In matches with prolivers, all I see is the average sf asr, steamshot, tswb, spd 2, dmg 2 set. WE NEED DIVERSITY!!

    -Better HUD. It getting old, ugly, and boring. Thing to point out, the little gear that gets you to settings in the FFA game mode always messes up the volume of my music.

    -Adding more game modes and map features like melee functions.

    -Fix maps. Ex: here was a change in color for the stomach acid(?) of the unicorn in Marecraft.

    -Fix game modes(especially Free for All), weps, etc.

    -A little warning next time. On the side where it shows which character killed which, for things like turret can it show 'turret kills (character),' just so we can know that there's a camping turret spamming bullets somewhere (In game, it does have it's own arrow on top of it..). Something somewhat similar could be done for Demo's missiles.

    -Taking out just the public account instead of everyone in the match.

    -More skill ranks? This is a maybe, because it's quite easy to get to 10k skill (diamond rank) and adding more should definitely change that. Or you could just change the amount it takes to get to a rank, something along the lines of that.

    -Higher level required to unlock certain items? I really have nothing to say about this.

    -No misleading gas offers. Some can take you to other sites, some won't give you gas.

    -More or less (depending on how long they should available) bundle deals. Also, make them better, the ones available right now are just skins and characters, and they've been there for a while.

    -In Plant the Bomb, give the player holding the bomb more accessibility, maybe allow the use of certain specials, an option to drop the bomb, whatever you can do.

    -Patch glitches..

    -Option to taunt or say woo hoo.

    -Give some melees a little more range/reach.

    -Better wep boosts. (special spd, spd, health, etc?)

    -Add one single player game mode? Idk-okay

    -Fix glitch where you get a little bit of extra time after the match..

    -Add more social features. All we have is a lame team chat button that barely anyone listens to..

    -In suicides where you fall off the map, change the amount of negative damage done to the amount of health you had when you suicided because right now you do too much negative dmg from falling off the map.

    -Idrc about graphics and designs, so don't ask me. Since everyone else is saying it though.. Why not. Better graphics and designs.

    -More updates, ones that bring us things that would be 'good' and 'new'.

    -Balance automatching..

    -Updates that don't go wrong.. No offense..

    -Pretty much just fixing any bug you can find, like it's not even funny to see someone list them.

    -New pro modes. In the beginning of BBG you started with two. Now, you still have two, yet you still advertise them in the side of the gear up menu.

    -Fix lobby player count..

    -Fix certain skin icons in lobbies and the match itself. Ex: Green Lantern (Botch) skin is out of place. Some Old Timey skin icons are mixed up..

    -Bad idea? Change the name of the game. It's kind of sad to see how the only relation to the name of the game and the game itself is that it's a game with bears that battle, and that it's a game with a super over-priced gold skin that barely anyone uses. Now obviously this should change the gold skin deal from being a bundle to just a one by one buy, but it's not my call. I however, would personally would like this idea to take action.

    Out of ideas for now. Might come up with more later.

    I agree with the co-op mode, maybe for them to add a campaign mode that could be single or co-op. That would be really fun.

    All I need to say is,
    You guys worked hard to make the game better, but go try to take a break on adding new features on the game and prioritize on fixing bugs.
    You guys just made one of the best multiplayer games I've played, and its a shame for BBG to have a lot of bugs

    A lot of the time, BBG feels like a cluttered game. This is most likely due to classes losing their identity and role in exchange for more weapons. I know this'll be an unpopular opinion because people love content, but a ton of classes have a ton of weapons that don't make sense for them to have at all, or at least from a gameplay standpoint. Remove those weapons or give them to other classes where its more fitting. These weapons for each class include:
    Oliver: Minigun, OCO Gauntlet, Sauke Bomb
    Riggs: Big Iron, Zombie Gun
    Astoria: Blowdart
    Huggable: Headlights
    Wil: Tbh I have no idea what his role is anymore since that turning the tides thing flew out the window
    Graham: Hand Cannon
    B-1K: SRCG
    Botch: Gravity Well
    Sanchez and Saberi also don't really feel like they have a role.

    Giving Saberi and Sanchez a definitive role, reverting Astoria to how she used to be (though the quick specials recharge concept is actually really good; keep that in some way or another) pre overhaul, and giving Wil his "turn the tables" role back would also help with classes having identity and the game feeling like less of a mess.

    Very happy the FFA bug is at long last fixed, and the PtB bomb explosion too! Now Everyplay's broken for at least the iPad mini 2 though.

    Yeah. You should remove this weapons to give class some class. Add some new weapon mechanic for Wil's weapons and remove the annoying Poptart Shuriken. It made the Chub Scout op. You should pre overhaul Sniper's stats and weapons. I missed the rapid fire Mamba's Boy. :'(
    For Arbiter and CombatTech, add some unique mechanics and gameplay for them. Like the Arbiter can change the team's stat, like the General in StrikeForceHeroes.
    I don't know what the CombatTech's purpose is but it can be a modified Soldier.

    For Arbiter and CombatTech, add some unique mechanics and gameplay for them. Like the Arbiter can change the team's stat, like the General in StrikeForceHeroes.
    I don't know what the CombatTech's purpose is but it can be a modified Soldier.

    Why don't we just balance them.
    Ideas that will be abused there for saberi and sanchez
    Sanchez is stupposed to be a support class
